Angela Evelyn Bassett is an American actress. Her work has earned her recognition for her TV and film performance since the 1980s. The awards she has won include the two Golden Globe Awards, sixteen NAACP Image Awards as well as nominations for Academy Awards and Primetime Emmy Awards. Bassett was born in Winston-Salem North Carolina, raised by an aunt in New York New York. The mother of Bassett had divorced from her father when she was about five. She and her younger sister later moved to St. Petersburg Florida with their mother. Bassett was in high school and, saw John Steinbeck's stage play Of Mice and Men with James Earl Jones and she decided to become an actress. Yale University New Haven Connecticut, where she received her bachelor's degree in African American and master's degrees (1983). Courtney B. Vance was also an actor at Yale. They married in 1997. Qualification: B.A. Master of Arts (Afro-American Studies) in the year 1980. The Master of Fine Arts (Drama) from Yale School of Drama School. Angela Bassett plays Ramonda as one of the main roles in action adventure film i.e. Black Panther Wakanda forever 2022.
